Course Road Closures
Have you heard? The Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon is scheduled to return as a two-day event, Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2026. We’re providing you with as much information as we can so you can best navigate in and out of your neighborhood, especially if you need to drive on the morning of Sunday, April 26.
Important Info
Runners and walkers start and end at Bronson Park in Downtown Kalamazoo
The Marathon starts at 7:00 a.m., followed by the Half Marathon at 8:05 a.m.
The 10K begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 8:40 a.m.
All runners and walkers will be off all courses by 1:30 p.m. or sooner, with the majority of runners done by 11:00 a.m.
Roads in your neighborhood will be open, but for safety reasons, runners will have the right of way. There will be delays as police protection and course monitors will be holding traffic until there are big enough breaks in the groups of runners and walkers.
Roads and intersections will close intermittently on Sunday morning when runners are actively crossing. Cars will be able to pass through where there are gaps in the runners, so roads are still passable, but expect delays.
