The Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon is almost here.
The two-day event is scheduled to kick off April 22 with a free 1K kids run at 9 a.m. and health expo in Downtown Kalamazoo.
The main event is scheduled for April 23 with races kicking off at 7:30 a.m., starting with the marathon.
Mile markers are color coded corresponding to each race. A "Bacon Station" and the "Gummy Bear Forest" will also return to the course, according to marathon organizers.
For those who are registered for in-person events, you will receive an event t-shirt, bib, beer ticket, entry to the Stryker Experience, and post-race treats, according to marathon organizers.
Race Path
All races start and finish at the Arcadia Creek Festival Site and participants run through downtown Kalamazoo.
The full marathon, half marathon, and 10K goes through Waldo Stadium, according to a news release.
The marathon course includes local parks and well-known places in the area including the Portage Creek Bicentennial Trail, Stryker Campus, Kalamazoo Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Museum, Milham Park, Upjohn Park and more.

Full Marathon: 7:30 a.m.
Half Marathon: 7:35 a.m.
5K & Run: 7:55 a.m.

Street parking is free on Sundays and without time limits enforced.
